Common Questions

How many players are on a team?

Teams are exactly 2 players — this is a 2v2 beach volleyball league. Both players must register together at sign-up.

Which division should my child play in?

Use grade as a guide: Jr. High is grades 6–8, JV grades 8–10, and Varsity grades 10–12. Not sure? Reach out and we'll help place your team.

How does the California prize work?

The 1st-place team in each division (4 winners total) has their tournament entry fee covered for a California beach volleyball event, plus a week-long coaching prep with their partner before the tournament. Travel and accommodation are not included. Details on the specific event will be confirmed after the season ends.

What happens in Week 6?

Week 6 is the State Showcase Championship. The top 4 teams per division (by win-loss record) advance to a single-elimination bracket — semifinals plus a championship match on the same day.

What are the School Spirit Jerseys?

An optional add-on at registration for $35/team. Both players receive a custom jersey in their school's colors. Choose your school, primary color, and secondary color at checkout. Order deadline is April 6.

What if we can't make a scheduled game day?

Reach out as early as possible. We'll do our best to reschedule within the same week if court availability allows. Forfeit without notice may result in a loss recorded in standings.

Do we need to bring our own volleyball?

No — official beach volleyballs are provided for all matches. You're welcome to bring your own ball for warm-up.
