Travel & Regional Club Teams

Beach Bums Juniors is
Beach Box's competitive girls' beach volleyball club, built for athletes who want to train hard, compete often, and grow as players season after season. Based on our indoor sand courts in Pleasant Grove, Utah, the club offers two paths: the Travel Team for grades 9–12, and Regional Teams for ages 8U–18U. Small rosters, coach-driven lineups, and a genuine runway toward college recruitment make this program stand apart from typical club setups.
Two Ways to Play
Every athlete's goals are different, so Beach Bums Juniors offers two distinct tracks:
Travel Team
A season-long commitment (November through June) capped at six athletes per roster. Travel Team members train twice a week and compete in both local and out-of-state tournaments. This track is built for serious, college-bound players who want the structure and intensity of a true club program.
Regional Team
A flexible, pay-as-you-go option with no full-season obligation. Athletes can train once a week ($120/month) or twice a week ($225/month), and every Regional athlete gets free entry into our monthly local tournament. It's an ideal fit for players who want consistent competition without locking into a full season.
How Club vs. Club Competition Works
Beach Bums Juniors competes in BVCA Club vs. Club duals, a format where three pairs from our club face three pairs from an opposing club (five pairs in the Open division). Whichever club wins two of three pair matchups wins the dual. Coaches — not athletes — decide the partnerships and set the lineups, mirroring exactly how college beach volleyball programs operate.
These duals function as the beach volleyball equivalent of indoor national qualifiers, putting athletes directly in front of college coaches and recruiters. For families with recruitment in mind, this format is one of the clearest paths available in the state.
